In this workshop, students will use Blockly, a drag and drop language to interface with the memory of the computer. We will be trying a number of puzzles, mazes, and games to explore sequential events, selection, and repetition. Students will use concepts of block code to make animated logos using Scratch.
Scratch is a block-based visual programming language that can create online projects using a block-like interface. After, students will be able to access web pages and more at home to continue their learning.
Students will need access to a computer and internet.
Please send an email to La Tasha Jackson if you have any questions. Thanks!
