  • Using Computer Simulations to Help Solve Complex Problems- Career Series in Health, Science and Technology

    October 5 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

All Virtual Events are Scheduled/Run in Eastern Time. Click Here for a time zone converter.

In this workshop, students will learn about computer simulations and create their own simulations of an epidemic and what factors make it spread faster or stop. We will be using the online tool StarLogo Nova to create the simulations.

This workshop is the second in our Career Series in Health, Science and Technology, where we will feature a professional that uses the software in their career. We will have a professional join us for the last 30 minutes of the workshop to speak about their education, career and use of the software. You may attend just one of the Career Series Workshop, all of them, or a combination of ones that you are interested in!
