Makey Makeys, Scratch Coding, and Play-Doh. Oh My!
Event run by Haddonfield Public Library.
Learn how to code your own game and create your own working game controller using everyday household items and food! In this workshop, students will use a Makey Makey Inventor’s kit to build a custom keyboard out of unconventional conductive materials, such as fruit and Play-Doh. Students will then pair their keyboard with the game created in Scratch programming in order to connect the digital and physical world. No prior experience necessary!
Please create a free Scratch account before the workshop.
The closest train station is Haddonfield. Street parking is free on weekends. Workshop will be held in the basement. Please bring a laptop. Snacks will be provided.
Please send an email to Cathy DeCampli if you have any questions. Thanks!
