Make an Animated Bracelet with Micro:bit

    February 17 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Event run by Society of Information Management (SIM) and Target. Students will tour Target’s customer experience lab!

This is an introductory workshop. No experience is necessary.

In this workshop, students will use the micro:bit’s drag and drop interface, MakeCode, to learn how to code the device. Students will walk through the various features of a micro:bit and learn how the code they create can activate animation, temperature sensing, radio buttons and motion sensors. Students will also design and make their own animated bracelet.

Please park in the visitor parking lot and go through the visitor entrance. Materials and a snack will be provided.

Please send an email to Shelly Wolfram if you have any questions. Thanks!
