Time to turn on your investigative thinking hats! Have you ever wondered where your drinking water comes from? How about what might be in your water? How do we find this out?

This workshop uses a combination of a water quality dataset and an online map-making tool to investigate where a fictitious source of groundwater pollution (based on real world data) may be originating. Students will learn about water quality issues, how to measure water quality, and how geospatial information can be used to solve problems involving water resources.
