  • Infographics: Proving Your Point with Pictures- Career Series in Health, Science and Technology

    October 19 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

All Virtual Events are Scheduled/Run in Eastern Time. Click Here for a time zone converter.

In this workshop, students will observe that infographics are often used to raise awareness about health and science topics, and are more easily searched and viewed on the Pinterest platform. Students will learn the difference between good and bad research, gather information on a health or science topic of their choosing, and then use a free, online tool called Piktochart to make an infographic on a health or science topic of their choice.

This workshop is the third in our Career Series in Health, Science and Technology, where we will feature a professional that uses the software in their career. We will have a professional join us for the last 30 minutes of the workshop to speak about their education, career and use of the software. You may attend just one of the Career Series Workshop, all of them, or a combination of ones that you are interested in!
