Aria is one of India’s few girls selected for industrial giant Infosys’ talent hunt called Catch Them Young, a program for mathematically-gifted high-schoolers. She has also won the Grand Prize in one of the world’s most prestigious coding competitions, Google Code-In. Aria has contributed to the development of a robot simulation for Open Roberta, an online platform that aims to make robotics education accessible to everyone.
Aria will lead a talk on a high schooler’s perspective on Gender Bias in tech. Aria will address some of the subtle and not-so-subtle psychological challenges that young women face as we navigate the exciting world of technology. A Q&A will follow her talk.
This event is for 5th-12th grade girls!
