Create and Play Video Games Using Scratch

    August 24 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Event run by Motivated Community Resource Center.

Do you like to play video games? Do you wonder how they are made? Would you like to make your own? Come learn how to do this using the block-based Scratch visual programming system.

You’ll learn what coding is all about, have fun exercising your imagination about how your game should work, and gain skills by writing code to make it work.

Students should bring a laptop (Chromebooks OK!). Please create a free Scratch (https://scratch.mit.edu/join) account prior to the event. A snack will be provided.

Please send an email to Veronica if you have any questions. Thanks!
