    Computer Programming with C++

    August 29 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

    Event sponsored by Kramden Institute and run by TechGirlz Teen Volunteers.

    Have you ever wanted to know how people create games, utilities, and apps? Well, it all begins with programming. In this workshop you will learn the basics of how to write your very own program using a language called C++! This is a great first language to learn because so many other languages are based off of it.

    After learning C++, you will have a basis of knowledge to let you quickly learn languages like Java (used to make Minecraft), Swift (used to make iPhone Apps), or JavaScript (used in web development), to name a few. With this workshop as a starting point, you can be on your way to creating your very own application!

    Parking available on site. Registrants will be guided to the workshop. Material and snacks will be provided. Students may bring their own laptop if preferred.

    Please send an email to Katherine Ryan and Ameya Rao if you have any questions. Thanks!
