Code & Play Your Own Game with Makey Makey, Scratch and a DIY Game

    November 18 @ 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Event run by Penn State Brandywine.

Learn how to code your own game and create your own working game controller using everyday household items and food! In this workshop, students will use a Makey Makey Inventor’s kit to build a custom keyboard out of unconventional conductive materials, such as fruit and Play-Doh. Students will then pair their keyboard with the game created in Scratch programming in order to connect the digital and physical world.

Students should bring a laptop (Chromebooks OK!) that can access https://scratch.mit.edu. A snack will be provided.

Please send an email to Shruti if you have any questions. Thanks!
