3D Jewerly Design with Tinkercad – 3D Manufacturing

In this workshop, students will design a diamond shaped ring and learn to model it using Autocad’s Tinkercad 3D modeling software. Students will learn the basics of 3D modeling, will learn about the different types of professional 3D modeling software available and will walk away with an understanding of how small jewelry designers use 3D to design and manufacture. Before leaving, students will be shown online websites for ordering 3D prints (i.e. Shapeways, i.materialise or Sculpteo).
*Computers will be available at the library but girls can bring their own laptop
Note: Upon arrival, registrants will follow signs to the computer room. Materials and snacks will be provided.
