Girls Learn How to Code in Scranton

The organization Scranton Girls Who Code held a workshop, which gave girls the opportunity to experience the field of coding. It was called “You Can Code”, which was held at the University of Scranton’s Loyola Science Center on Saturday, March 5. About 35 female students from many schools in Northeast PA learned some basic coding techniques from coding websites.

They all asked ‘When are you doing this again?’ and ‘Is this every month?’ The girls are interested and the topics are right on target with quality ideas and relevant technology.”
