Code Breakers

Record. Set.

Women’s History Month became Girls Making History Month! An incredible 342 young women set the world record for the most number of girls coding together at the same time. 17 different cities in the US and 1 in Colombia, were part of the record.

Check out the video recap of the day to see how the day went. The girls learned to code in HTML and CSS to create a web page that featured a woman in history. This shows them that tech is another way to communicate ideas and information. The girls were invited to feature a woman in history on their web pages. Thanks to IBM Cloud Garage for hosting our girls’ finished products. Check them out!
