About Donna Cusimano
Donna started her career in the pharmaceutical industry where she held several positions over the course of 15 years. She worked as a research scientist in the areas of gene expression science and pharmacology. She has co-authored several publications and a patent during her years in the laboratory. Donna later moved into data analysis roles in the areas of vaccine customer marketing, clinical data management and industrial cybersecurity.
Donna has a BS in Biology from Georgian Court University, and MS in Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland. As Curriculum Development at TechGirlz, Donna works with subject matter experts to develop new and/or update existing workshop plan materials that will ultimately be added to the TechShopz in a Box curriculum library. Donna also manages the TechCamp in a Box program where she consults with various organizations planning to run summer camps. She guides them on how to use TechGirlz curricula and plan for their summer camp program.
Donna enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. As an official foodie, she loves to cook and bake. She also enjoys traveling, reading and biking.
