Help inspire the next generation of technologists by volunteering with TechGirlz,
an organization working to show middle school girls the power of technology through hands-on tech shops.
Here are a few volunteer positions we are in need of:
Instructors
Teach a TechShop from our library of past workshops or create and teach your own.
Past teaching experience is not needed, but passion and enthusiasm for technology is.
Teaching Assistants
Help assist the girls as they learn new skills during our tech shops.
TechShop Coordinator
Be the point person for the TechShop by coordinating details with parents and instructors prior to the workshop,
and being the TechGirlz presence the day of the workshop.
Marketing
We have various needs around marketing including website design and content, press, newsletter creation and communications,
and fundraising (managing grant writing, corporate sponsorships, and other community management.)
Outreach is another large portion of our marketing efforts, and this includes
connecting with teachers, parents, and other like-minded organizations.
